how is the paginated report using the email address to do the filtering for the paginated report?

Not very good solution. 1. I prefer using field parameter then hidden pages. 2. If I have more RLS (e.g. by Regions) and more combination of OLS (e.g. Finance, Sales, etc ...) then Iwould need ALL (!) combinations to have 1 single role for every possible roles (e.g. for every Region, for Global + for Finance, Sales, Finance + Sales etc ...). I still don`t understand why a combination of more RLS + OLS is not possible.

All PBI reports are connected to the same data source/Server location and I need to change it to a new Server location. Is there a way to change all data source across all PBI reports rather than open and do it one by one? Thanks

I'm having similar issue with x axis. I created index and sortby but cannot use them. To be more specific, I created week of the years in the format of mm/dd. But that puts 4/13 in front of 4/7. I need 4/7 to be in front of 4/13. Little things like this make me miss Tableau.

Good to know but doesn't help my unique situation of trying to color code values of average days to fill based on SLA target values.

So to recap this video, Dataflow is like when you have master's DB/ OLAP in master company and you're in PowerBI service team area, you want to pick some of its table and do major ETL to further report or re-use for another team But Datamart is like when your team does not fulfill permission to access master DB/ OLAP, ... so you can use Datamart and ask IT team to pull some of the partitions you need to do your report, whatever, ... Is this understanding method proper?

As a consultant I work for several clients using my computer to start PBI with the runas command (runas /noprofile /netonly /user:<domain>\<user> "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Power BI Desktop\bin\PBIDesktop.exe"). Finding the path to the executable is easy when you install the app the old fashion way, but it is more difficult to find the executable when you install with MS Store. Do you have a preferred way to find the exec when you use MS store?

Q: the gateway cluster can also be used in fabric datafactory right? What I'm curious about is how the concurrency settings of the gateway in fabric datafactory (assuming those exist, same as in azure datafactory) relate to concurrency settings inside pipelines. For example, let's say your gateway is configured to handle 5 concurrent jobs, one pipeline that uses the gateway has 10 concurrent activities, does that mean 5 activities will have to wait? (Assuming the server the gateway is installed on is having an easy time and is not the bottleneck) In other words; does the number of concurrent jobs relate to the number of concurrent pipeline runs or to the number of concurrent activity runs? MS documentation for the shelf hosted integration runtime is not clear on this. And also, how should the number of concurrent jobs be set in relation to the processors/threads of the machine(s) it is installed on.

Unfortunately, even though we have a premium workspace our users, who don't have a license (the entire reason we spent $$$ on a premium workspace), get hit with an upgrade to pro message when they try to use the share button. Doesn't seem right. If we pay for a premium workspace, our users should be able to use the features in the dashboard.

When you use Git+DevOps, why would you use Deployment Pipelines?

I've created a datamart in my workspace and I'm not able to load it with data from lakehouse or warehouse in the same workspace. In the Get Data list, not able to see the fabric lakehouse or warehouse listed. Anyone else faced this issue? I'm using fabric trial capacity. Is the issue because of this?

Using pipelines copy from on premise server to Lakehouse converts time zone to UTC. This issue is not resolved for about two months, Microsoft knows about it and seems to ignore it. Be careful! The bug only occurs using pipeline, it works using Dataflows gen2 without this problem.

Hi, After clicking on any slicer or datapoint in any Slicer/Visual, if we toggle the view or change the view in the same page of the power BI report, it again shows whole report rather it should show the filtered report. How can it be achieved?

Is this feature disabled, because I cant find it in Power BI Service!!?

I need your guidance on how to assign the same source file from two different computers to a Dashboard Report published in Power BI Service. The scenario involves having the source file on Computer A and Computer B, and I want the dashboard to update when I make changes to either source file using an on-premises gateway. I have Installed the Power BI Desktop on Computer A but not on Computer B.

Why in that funnel graph contributor is above member? In workspaces it's exactly opposite, i.e. member has highier privilages.
